Interviews w. Artists

"Poetry is the way we help give name to the nameless so it can be thought. The farthest external horizons of our hopes and fears are cobbled by our poems, carved from the rock experiences of our daily lives."
-Audre Lorde, Poetry Is Not a Luxury

Artists are the meaning-makers. They are who ground us as individuals, who tie us to a specific culture and time and place. Artists give expression to the human condition, they invite mystery and wonder and the unknown.
We wanted to get a glimpse of the mind of an artist;
the work-flow and the stumbles, the visions, the aches.
