Our Open Mic feature this month is Kamga Tchassa .

Kamga Tchassa is a bilingual Cameroonian poet and writer who started the first-ever monthly poetry event in the University city of Buea in Cameroon. He has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and currently works as the Marketing Director of My Quiet Cave. He also serves producer of the Soul Stories Podcast. He moved to the U.S in 2018 to join his wife. Kamga now explores what it means to be an immigrant in the USA. while facing hard conversations around identity, purpose, dreams, and marriage - these all bleed into his personal essays, poems, and non-fiction work which you can read alongside 4000 other readers on Medium.com. On the side, he runs the Loving Creative Podcast where he questions what it takes to live a happy full life as a creative and a budding YouTube channel focusing on creativity, relationships and immigration.
